Refund Policy Overview
At Students Library, we understand that circumstances may change. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for membership fees. We aim to be fair and transparent in all our refund processes.
Note: We offer a 2-day FREE trial for all new members. We recommend using the trial period to ensure our library meets your needs before purchasing a membership.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

Example: If you paid ₹899 for a Two-Shift membership and request a refund within 7 days, you will receive ₹629 (70% of ₹899).
Non-Refundable Items
The following fees and charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
Locker Charges
₹100/month locker rental fee is non-refundable
Priority Seating
₹200/month priority seat booking fee is non-refundable
Registration Fee
One-time registration/ID card fee (if any)
Promotional Offers
Discounted memberships or special offers are non-refundable
How to Request a Refund
Follow these simple steps to request a refund:

Submit Request
Provide your membership ID, reason for refund, and payment receipt (if available).
Verification
Our team will verify your membership details and refund eligibility within 24-48 hours.
Receive Refund
Once approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.
Refund Payment Methods
Refunds will be processed through the following methods:
UPI
GPay, PhonePe, Paytm
Bank Transfer
NEFT/IMPS
Cash
At library counter
Important: Refunds will be made to the same account/method used for the original payment whenever possible.
Membership Transfer (Alternative to Refund)
Instead of a refund, you may transfer your remaining membership period to another person:
Transfer Benefits
- No deduction - Full remaining period transferred
- Available anytime during your membership
- One-time transfer allowed per membership
- New member must complete registration with valid ID
Transfer Fee: A nominal transfer fee of ₹50 will be charged for processing the membership transfer.
Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Full or partial refunds may be considered in the following special cases:
Medical Emergency
Serious illness or hospitalization (medical certificate required)
Job Relocation
Transfer to another city (offer letter/proof required)
Family Emergency
Urgent family matters requiring relocation (case-by-case basis)
Library Closure
If library closes permanently, pro-rata refunds will be provided
Special circumstance refunds are reviewed individually. Please contact us with supporting documents for consideration.
When Refunds Are NOT Provided
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Request made after 15 days of membership purchase
- Membership terminated due to rule violations
- Unused days due to personal reasons (vacation, exams, etc.)
- Change of mind after using the library
- Discounted or promotional memberships
- Temporary service disruptions (power cuts, maintenance, etc.)
